Last updated: March 2026. We built Mythikir with your privacy as a sacred trust. Here’s exactly what that means.
I. What We Don’t Collect
The short answer: almost everything
Mythikir requires no account, no sign-up, no email, and no personal information of any kind. There is nothing to hand over because we never ask for it.
- No Account Required
There is no sign-up, no login, no email collection. You download the app and use it. That’s it.
- No Tracking
No analytics, no advertising trackers, no behavior profiling. We don’t know how you use the app and we don’t want to.
- No Ads, No Payments
Everything in Mythikir is free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. If we ever need support, we’ll ask — never require.
Ephemeral by design
When you use AI features (like finding duaas for how you feel, or the study companion), your query text is sent to our server, which passes it to Anthropic (Claude AI) for processing. Here’s what happens:
- •Your query is processed and the response is returned to you.
- •Nothing is stored — not on our server, not by us, not anywhere we control.
- •No user identity is attached. The AI cannot tell who you are or link your requests across sessions.
- •Each chat session is independent. When you close the study companion, the conversation is gone.

Everything important stays with you
Local Database
All duaas, collections, favorites, and notes live in a local database on your device. They never leave your device.
Your Notes Stay Private
Favorites, personal notes, and custom collections are stored locally on your device. Only you can see them.
No Server Sync
There is no cloud sync, no server-side storage, no central database of user data. We don’t have a server that knows you exist.
IV. Third Parties
Our only third-party integration is Anthropic (Claude AI) for processing AI queries. We send the text of your query — nothing else. No device ID, no user ID, no metadata. See Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy for how they handle data in transit.
